METCON aims for growth in both the national and the regional markets by taking a further step in the ongoing process of honing its strategy for the years to come. Demands and needs of the clients are central to this approach. The main concern at all times is the ability to deliver added value, so that the clients throughout the country and the region can profit from the knowledge and experience present within the Company. It is achieved with the continual development of the core activities. For sustainability and excellent performance, the Company is strategically proceeding ahead with the vision of: i. Sound financial management, ii. Growth and Diversification of the project portfolio, iii. Effective and efficient project management, and iv. Establishing a reputation as an intelligent provider of services.
Human Resources and Management
We employee 40 staff members on full time basis, over half with professional qualifications in multi-disciplinary including consultants, administrative and associate. We have maintained a database of 600 independent consultants in addition to our close relationship with local and international organizations.

Structure and Organization
We have organized our operations into four divisions named as I. management and planning division ii. Hydropower and infrastructure division iii. Social development division and iv. Natural resources and environment division. Apart from these divisions, There is an administration and finance department headed by a manager with the functions of company secretary and legal, finance and accounting, production, logistics, marketing and business promotion (domestic and international), personnel and training. This department provides necessary support services to all divisions of the Company for their smooth operations required for successful completion of the project.METCON's multi-disciplinary and integrated approach ensures that the client gets only the best result.
Our directors own the consulting business. We operate a bonus system in which all permanent staff participates, based upon a mixture of the consultancy's overall performance and the contribution of each of the operating divisions. Due to our commitment for the development of the wider talents of our staff, we have maintained our investment in training of staff to meet the challenges brought about by rapidly changing market.
Project Management
Project management has been an integral part of the Company's business. It is METCON's firm belief and principle to manage the clients' interest in all projects and as a result of this interaction, with the clients; it has been able to gain a good understanding of the issues affecting the success of the projects. In order to ensure successful implementation of projects it requires effective management from the beginning until its completion. Working in various projects and diverse clients the Company has garnered management experience to
- understand project objectives;
- provide an organizational setup for effective management of the project;
- implement systems of control and
- establish regular reporting system to be kept fully informed.
- an integral part of project management is sound planning and it can justifiably be said that planning is the core to an effective project management.
